MOH 1200 launched

Synectix released yet another MP3 music on hold player today. Using a revolutionary design to deliver MP3 capability at low cost, Synectix plans to target this player against CD and analog MOH players . The unit has 32 MB of internal Flash memory to store 60 minutes of high quality audio content.  Optionally content can be stored in SD memory cards of up to 1 GB capacity. Built-in USB port enables easy transfer of MP3 files to the unit.

CMS for MOH2000 released

Synectix today released the Content Management Software (CMS) for its internet enabled music on hold player – the MOH 2000. The feature packed CMS is available free of cost to content providers who use MOH 2000. With the CMS the content provider can now manage thousands of units which have been deployed globally.

MOH 1600 launched

Synectix today launched yet another best-of-the-breed MP3 Music on Hold player, the MOH 1600. The MOH 1600 enables MP3 music files to be downloaded directly from a USB Disk Drive (‘USB Flash Drive’, ‘Pen Drives’, /Thumb Drives’). This feature effectively eliminates the need to unplug the player from the PBX to download the MP3 files. 

Now you can copy your audio content into a standard USB Disk Drive, insert it into the MOH 1600 unit to download the content to its internal memory.  The USB Disk Drive can be removed once the new content is transferred into the unit’s internal memory.

Night Answer Launched

Synectix today launched the Night Answer targeted at the small business market. The Night Answer allows the business to use the product as a MOH during the day and to announce after business hour messages once the business is closed for the day.

Synectix gain A-Tick Mark

Synectix’s products achieved the A-Tick mark registration. The entire compliance testing and certification was done at a leading NATA accredited testing laboratory.  Synectix is one of the few companies outside of Australia to achieve this registration for PBX peripherals.

First lot of “RoHS” compliant Music On Holds ships out

Synectix today dispatched the first lot of “RoHS” compliant Music on Holds to UK. The RoHS or the Restriction on the use of Hazardous Substances is the latest of the European Directive (2002/95/EC) which has come into effect from 1st of July, 2006. This directive will go a long way in making our planet greener and free from toxic substances. Synectix is completely committed to the RoHS program and will eventually ship out only RoHS compliant products.

In its bid to capture the Australian market, Synectix today entered in to a strategic tie-up with Synectix Australasia, Brisbane, Australia.  Synectix Australasia will be the exclusive partner of Synectix in Australia.

MOH 2000 Launched

Synectix launched the much awaited internet enabled (IP) Music on Hold  player – the MOH 2000.  Targeted at Call Centres, multi-location businesses etc. the MOH 2000 is ideally suited to businesses that require constant content updates.

Content providers can now use their own servers to update the content of MOH 2000 either daily or as and when required (On demand). The MOH 2000 provides CD quality audio playback (MP3 Technology) and IP connectivity making it one of the best music on hold equipment available in the market. Further the content is updated directly into the unit using a broadband internet connection, eliminating the delays in shipping physical media to the customer’s site or using costly telephone downloads.

Synectix joins hands with ROCOM Group Ltd.

Synectix has been chosen by ROCOM Group Ltd. one of UK's top telecom distributor to manufacture and supply music on hold players under their flagship brand ‘FORTUNE’.

Synectix will initially supply MOH 1500 and the soon to be launched MOH 2000 – an Internet enabled Music on Hold player.  With the ‘Fortune’ Music on Hold system,  ROCOM aims to capture the entire MOH market in UK, which is currently dominated by CD based MOH players.

MOH 1500 Launched

Synectix launched the MOH 1500, a MP3 music on hold player with built-in USB interface. The MOH 1500 is the latest generation MP3 Music on Hold player from Synectix.  The unit comes with 32 MB of Flash memory allowing storage of 60 + minutes of high quality messages.  Storing fresh content is easy – just connect the player to a PC, drag and drop the MP3 message / music file in to the MOH 1500 exactly like how you would do with a USB disk drive!

Upgrading the memory is possible since the memory is kept in a replaceable cartridge. Swapping the cartridge with higher capacity could give you hours of music.
